I can’t believe 2018 is drawing to a close.
For me, it’s been a great year, learning from 2017 to be a little kinder to myself and taking mini-breaks throughout the year, resulting in me not being as exhausted by the end of 2018 as I was the year before.
Since I got back from NZ, I’ve done the last of my clinics for the year in Albany, Margret River and Stoneville with only Harvey and Oakford to go before I finish up for the year. I will still be available to do some lessons at my place on certain days through the Christmas period so contact me via text on 0407 070 311 if you’d like to book one in.
A number of riders have been asking about the residential stays at my place. These are designed to help riders get some intensive training under their belt without the busyness of life getting in the way. Riders come and stay at my place in Keysbrook for a few days and have lessons in the morning and again in the afternoons. A number of options are available to match the requirements and budget of the riders. There is time each day to go out between lessons, have great conversations over dinner in the evenings along with a glass or two of wine. Most weekends I am booked for clinics but I’m available mid-week for residential stays.
Contact me if you’d like to kick 2019 off with a boost and nail down into any issues you or your horse may be having.
The website will be getting a facelift over the Christmas break, so please bear with us as these upgrades are made. We have found an easier and better online calendar that comes with more flexible payment options which can hopefully take out the frustration that some of you have experienced in the past. A big thank you to Sandy Taylor Digital Marketing for her constant help, support, advice and always being in the background guiding me.
I’d like to thank each and every one of my clients for their faith in me and their incredible support in 2018.
It’s such a privilege to be able to work with such a diverse range of riders and horses. Yes, it’s a roller coaster ride for all of us in our riding careers, each of us experiencing exhilarating highs and crushing lows at one time or another. One thing I’m learning to be better at is embracing the highs and becoming more objective about the lows by taking something constructive away that will help me improve as a person or rider. I only wish that I could have had this outlook much earlier in life.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy the time with your families and friends. I’m going to be spending time with my eldest son, his wife and family as they travel from Germany to spend Xmas in Australia. It’s going to be fun to be Nanna Bear for a month to my 2 gorgeous little granddaughters aged 18 months and 4 yrs.
